Our Signature Event
The Annual "Cliff Walk®" for A.L.S.
Fundraiser is a se ven-mile walkathon along the scenic
Cape Cod Canal held annually in September at the Buzzards
Bay Recreation Area in Buzzards Bay, MA.
Over three-quarter million dollars has been raised
for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease through
a variety of fundraising events, most notably the Foundation's
signature event, the Annual "Cliff Walk®"
for A.L.S. Fundraiser.
"The “Cliff Walk®” means
a day of no worries. It is a day for meeting new people
and having fun. The “Cliff Walk®” means
that someday there will be a cure."

The Annual “Cliff Walk®” for A.L.S.
Fundraiser brings patients, their families and their
friends together in an environment that breeds hope.
It provides an environment where those dealing with
the effects of A.L.S. can come together and celebrate
life. Where they can take comfort in each other’s
company, in the beautiful surroundings, and in the knowledge
that they are doing something meaningful.

11th Annual “Cliff Walk®” for A.L.S.

Each year, at the conclusion of the walk, participants
and supporters enjoy live musical entertainment, a family
style cookout, moonwalks, face painting and a host of
other activities. Everyone who participates comes away
with their own feelings of community, of comfort, of
satisfaction from the events of the day.
The Legacy He Left Us…
The Annual “Cliff Walk®”, which is
dedicated to the memory of Cliff Jordan, Jr. and Edward
J. Sciaba, Sr., was initiated by Cliff himself before
his death as a way to help support the research efforts
of Dr. Robert Brown at Mass General Hospital. Jordan
and Singersen have taken the event to the next level.
