Dino’s 2nd Poker Tournament for A.L.S. Raises over $2,000

Our 2nd “Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament” organized by Bill Drinan of Napa Auto Parts of Cape Cod, raised over $2,000 for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease at Dino’s Sports Bar on Sunday, May 18, 2008.

Prizes for runners up were donated by the following; Bobby Byrnes, Cape Cod Paintball, the 99 Restaurant, The Outback Steakhouse, Dino’s Sports Bar and Napa Auto Parts.

The top two players, Rob Quimby of RQ Landscaping in Mashpee, and Jake Breitzman, visiting from Wisconsin, agreed to call it a tie and split the prize money for the top two spots.

Rob Quimby had a lucky night; he also won the 50/50 raffle and a gift certificate to Cape Cod Paintball.

Thanks to everyone for participating and buying tickets for the 50/50 raffle.
